Bavarian Cream
Bayerische Creme or Bayrisch Creme as we call it in Bavaria, Germany is internationally also known as Crème bavaroise. Some describe it as a German Panna cotta, some say it would be very similar to “Schlag“. Anyway, Bavarian cream is probably the best someone can make from pure Bourbon vanilla, cream, sugar, egg and gelatin. Served with fresh fruits of the season and a freshly made ragout, it is a great dessert for any occasion.
