Apple Strudel


Apple Strudel which is called “Apfelstrudel” in Germany and Austria is a real good fall and winter dessert. Made from fresh local apples (which should be available in late August and early September) together with the raisins and cinnamon it is a great way to get ready for autumn. We recommend to warm the Strudel in the microwave oven at medium to high heat, cover it with powdered sugar and serve with a scoop of walnut ice cream.
